RuneScape Kingdoms, a board game and roleplaying game based on the MMO, will become available to pre-order later this month

Steamforged Games and Jagex have announced that pre-orders will open in late September for the roleplaying game, and board game based on the ever-popular MMORPG RuneScape. They will fly under the RuneScape Kingdoms banner with the board game bearing the subtitle Shadow of Elvarg and the roleplaying game, the slightly less imaginative yet inarguably accurate The Roleplaying Game. Using a three d6 dice mechanic, The Roleplaying Game aims to be accessible while capturing the essence of the source material. The core book will, naturally, include all the rules alongside a tonne of lore to allow game masters to create lore-faithful campaigns.
